I’ve had some amazing prints! My first printer was damaged badly and I had to replace is so I decided to spend the extra $20 for this one and man am I happy I did! It’s made of aluminum and since there aren’t any rods, I don’t have to worry about them warping. No bearings to wear out from the bushings which is what caused my original one to get damaged. The filament sensor has saved me a few times! This alone is worth the extra cost I spent! I loved it so much I bought a second one!

I have a stock cr10s. Turn off retraction. Turn temp up to 235 and print super slow. If you've got upgrades, than I bet it will be easy to print with. It's a quality material and a bright yellow. Good value. I would buy again.

I bought this for my husband after he finally got comfortable with 3D printing. This takes a bit of time to put together but after that, it’s really easy to use...even I could print something. We’ve printed so many things since we’ve received it and only had one problem but so far so good.

My husband had this put together in a couple of days with help from the internet only. There were some issues but he got them all worked out and starting printing. It does beautiful work. And works great on the SD card only. He is very happy with this purchase.

I have owned a Da Vinci XYZ and Anet A8 (was sent a mix of A6 and A8 pieces by vendor :( ). It is just as easy to use as the Da Vinci but half the price. Good entry level printer with enough wiggle room to keep more seasoned used entertained for a bit. The range of materials that can be used is a great selling point as well!

I've been working on/with 3d printers for the past 6 years. I personally like the Prusa setup because everything is easy to access. I was a bit skeptical because of how cheap the printer was but I took as shot and purchased it. upon opening the package, everything was neatly packed and nothing was banged up. I did have to loosten the rollers because of some drag I noticed, second issue I had was with the extruder motor. I cleaned out the nozzle, turned up the motor current before contacting Tronxy about the issue. After my failed attempts I had sent them a video of what was going on- there was a few back and forth conversations to figure out what was going on. I was very impressed at the measures that was taken to solve the problem. As far as print quality- it's not bad at all for hobbiest parts- its not the best prints i've ever seen but for the price you cant go wrong! if you're somewhat mechanically inclined and fresh to 3d printing I think you could handle working this printer.

The color and feel of the yellow TPU is fantastic. Take your time and dial in your settings though. On my XY-2 it took a while to get my settings to print this with good quality and reliability but that's just how flexible filaments are especially with a Bowden setup. I had to print just above the recommended temperature and due to the nature of the flexible filaments i also needed to up my extrusion multiplayer a bit.

This stuff is great. This is my first time using TPU and I've heard a lot of horror stories but I had no issues here. Just remember to slow your speeds down. Will definitely purchase again and recommend anyone to try it.

I am not new to 3d printing, but i am new to TPU. i have had a Monoprice Select Mini 3d printer for about 2 years and recently added a Tronxy X5SA-400 printer. Despite all my printing i had never tackled TPU. i have been told that it is next to impossible to print TPU on a bowden type printer, which my first printer was. after i installed my new printer i thought i would try my hand at it. i loved my new Tronxy printer so i decided to give their filament a try. the price was right, and i wanted to print several cosplay items for my daughter. the filament ships quickly from amazon, and comes in the standard sealed filament pouch. i opened it up and checked it out. TPU is different than anything i have used before. the filament feels more like a rubber band then a piece of plastic. my printer has a titan geared extruder with a 630mm bowden tube and i thought loading it in to the titan was going to be a nightmare, but it was surprisingly easy, easier then i find most PLA's. i figure it is because it is flexible that it goes where the extruder wants instead of where it wants. i loaded the filament and extruded a bit. at my nozzle temp of 230 it came right out no issue. unfortunately with a little retraction, it kept oozing out. as discovered, this is the nature of TPU. retraction is almost useless, and does more harm then good most of the time. after some reading about printing flexible filaments, i found they needed to be printed slowly. <30mm/s. cooling can help with stringing and oozing, but wont fix it. turn retraction off, make speedy travel moves. i sliced my file up accordingly and set it to print. my favorite surface to print on is Kapton tape and i have coated my bed with it. i give it a light spray of aquanet hair spray, but i find that filaments just stick to it. it was no different with this TPU. it had excellent bed adhesion. as it printed i did find a lot of stringing. speedy travel moves helped a bit, but there was a lot of post processing needed. the processing was simple, i used some wire snips to clip the strings. but in the end i was very happy with my results. on subsequent prints i found that temperature control is very important. the tronxy tpu seemed to print just fine in the 205 degree range, with plenty of layer adhesion. tho it is important that you have a heated bed. one of my sliced files allowed my bed to drop to 35 degrees and the print pealed right off. i suggest you print a temperature tower or other files that help you tune filament settings as it will help you find a sweet spot . all in all the filament gets an A rating from me. i will definitely be getting more flexibles in the future , and the tronxy TPU seems very high quality. just follow some simple techniques and your prints will be just as good.

Ok people, here's my review. I start with the bad but please also read the good. The Bad: Ok. Its been a week since I received this printer. First observation during the assembly wasn't that great for the QC department. Packaging on mine was good but they put the logo on my touch screen totally upside down. I have emailed them but have not heard anything back as of yet. Also I noticed that the Home micro switch for the X-Y plane was mounted in a Its almost my lunch time fashion and should have included some stand off spacers. It is in there at an angle because the switch protrudes from the circuit board. Because of this, Home is a little to the left of the platter than it should be. Not a biggie. Other than that and the logo upside down, I have not had any issues with the mechanics. The software on the other hand is another situation. Software is included on the SD but I wouldn't waste your time installing it unless you already know how to use it. Its in depth and not that user friendly for beginners. Again, not their fault as they didn't make it. Also, you will not find this printer in any 3d software settings as a preset. Or at least I haven't as of yet. Correct me if someone has please but honestly really expected this due to the price. Because of this you will need to setup a generic printer device and put in as much information as you can. This brings me to another issue. Other than the specs they give you on Amazon, no other in depth specifications are given in the box. A lot of which you really need to setup this printer in software. Personally I used the closed eyes, dart on the wall, method and it has worked out ok so far. I have found that checking the heat temp settings for the extruder and bed as well as the bed size will get you by. Or has me anyway. I think the Gcode these printers use is pretty generic. Their are a lot of other settings for 3D printers in the slicing software that will effect your print but it applies really to all of them so learn as fast as you can. The wiring is a mess. Mismatched lengths cause hard to do wire management. As far as knowing what goes where, that is pretty straight forward, just don't expect it to look pretty unless you want to spend some time at it. The Good: Now to stop knocking it and talk about the good things. It prints. Just as well as a lot of the printers I've watched on YouTube. I've had several good prints and the normal bad ones. To fix the Software issue and get success, I use IceSL now and for my design I use FreeCad. Both are freeware. Hope I didn't just Jinx it. Again, if you get this printer, visit YouTube and search channels that are for 3D printing. You will find that not all of the issues are specific to this device. A lot of the issues you will experience happen to most “personal use” printers. Also, 3D printers in general are not really plug and play and do take some time to get used to. I could sit here and nitpick everything about this printer but I'm not going to. It is my first printer and so far am happy with its results and because its my first, do not have enough knowledge in the craft as a whole to down it much. Their QC could use some work on the small components and small details. Even though may not effect performance, it can effect the overall vibe of the product. Overall: I think, so far, its a decent printer for what I've poured into it. Sure, I could have can spent more $$$, but this one does work for what I wanted and does work well once you get it dialed in. If I find I outgrow it, I’ll just invest in better model. Oh and ya, I'll be editing this review if it craps out on me anytime soon. Longevity is also key to a good product.

Great priced printer loaded with great features. Bed had a bow to it in the center but the first full preheat 100% fixed that. Don't bother with the bed adhesion sheet that comes with it do yourself a favor and spend $15 on a megnetic bed adhesion system. At one point the whole bed thought it was shifted 2 inches right and an inch back. To fix this just download the file for the xy-2 from the Tonxy site and run that gcode. This reset it.

Overall really happy with this printer and especially happy for the price point. When I 1st set it up the z axis end stop wasnt working, after a few minutes of diagnosing I found that the pin was loose in the main harness clip. Popped it back in and have been printing perfectly since. I did decide to upgrade the spool real as the original either got in the way of my z screw nob or if it was mounted on top it was too sharp of an angle to go into the run put sensor. Also I immediately went to glass so I cannot speak on the included pei sheet.

This is the first #D printer I have ever owned and it's amazing so far. Set up was a little rough, the video was not great, but once I had everything put together, I was printing that night. Settings can be a little hard to figure out to get great prints but there are tons of websites with helpful suggestions. I highly recommend this printer.

This 3d Printer was EXTREMELY easy to put together, just 4 parts. I did order the one with the non auto-bed leveling, which to be honest I should have, being a beginner at this. So I would say if you are a 1st timer spend the extra $20 or so and get the auto bed leveling, it will help with headaches. But once I got it leveled and figured out I was able to do my first print which was the Pickle Rick. It did have some layer issues and all but that was due to my fault of setting up the profile right. Once I got the profile down, I printed out the butterfly for my wife and it looks great! So yes, for the price it is A MUST HAVE! And VERY EASY to use. You will be come a very addicted to once you start.

this printer took me less than 30 minutes to assemble and start printing. i was surprised at how quiet it is. i did have to adjust the titan extruder to print with tpu and it was able to give me a good print with tpu at 60mm/sec which is twice as fast as my xy-2 pro with the standard extruder. Well worth the extra money for the upgraded version.
