The TRONXY X5SA PRO printer has quickly become my favorite printing platform. It was very simple to build and it produces beautiful results. It has been reliable and has delivered on everything I expected. Thanks for the great product!! This is my 4th 3D printer and the best so far. I've read the other reviews on this machine and it seems that people either love it or hate it. Frankly the negative reviews are ridiculous. If you buy this printer, DON T expect it to print by itself and reload its own filament and make you coffee while you wait. It has an operational procedure that -- if followed -- works every time. Once you learn not to lean on the print bed after you level it you'll get remarkable results. I've had 0 problems with the long Bowden tube once I tied it to the cable chain so it would not tangle with the moving parts. Never had a heat problem with the power supply. Mine is absolutely silent in operation. If you know anything about motion and control, you'll easily figure out you have to adjust the XY slider cars to have a slight preload (drag) using the eccentric screws. This improves the performance of the printer. The print head is light and the response is good. I run mine slow anyway because I never saw a benefit on any of my printers to pushing speed to the limit. You always get better results with a moderate speed. Finally, the comments regarding the software are uncalled for. I have used their TRONCY software with no problems but have fallen into using SImplify3D as I prefer that package to any other. It works perfectly with this printer. I have also used CURA and it worked fine as well.I would have concerns if this printer pushes over $500 in cost as there are better printers in that price range, however, at the price I paid I am delighted.

This printer is awesome. Super easy to set up and the bed leveling is cool. First print after about 30 minutes of assembly turned out perfect. Must buy!

Everything arrived in good order, no damage. I assembled the 3D printer in about 2 hours following the manual and I printed the first calibration prints shortly thereafter. The printer performs very well and has very few Z axis errors on both smaller and larger prints. The included version of Cura is not up to date, but works fine. It was delivered with plenty of bolts and T-nuts, extra micro switches, and 4 extra belt guide bearings. The only complaint I have is that the spool of filament shown is not what you get, it is very much smaller.

I purchased the xy-2 pro and it has been great. I just decided I needed a second printer for my new home. So I decided on the X5SA PRO . My X5SA PRO Arrived within 15 days after purchase and in excellent condition. This tronxy x5sa pro is very popular and I can see why. It is a beast.I have never worked with a finer company than Tronxy. They are tops and will get all my future purchases.

One of the biggest challenges with using reviews to decide/influence a purchase is getting past the I loved it or I hated it to get to product details relevant to you. After all, I think we're all painfully aware that reviews can be bought and that frankly, some people can never be pleased. This is especially true when the product is 1) expensive, 2) complex, and 3) unfamiliar to you. For me, this printer was all three. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many articles and videos I reviewed to try and get a handle on the various options before I pulled the trigger. This is compounded by the fact that 3D printing is still an industry somewhat in its infancy. Sure, the tech has been around for more than a decade, but for most of that time it was largely the playground of technical enthusiasts. For example, until fairly recently most 3D printing guides still included advice about buying a can of hairspray to make the printing surface sticky enough to hold the filament in place, a technique that has largely been made obsolete by advances in printing surfaces. As an outsider with no real knowledge of 3D printing or plastics, the presence of so many ad-hoc solutions to technical problems was a real red flag. I'm just looking for a reasonably reliable way to print interesting and useful parts. I've printed about a dozen pieces so far and every one had uniformly excellent print quality. Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers like this that build objects by laying down thin layers of melted filament don't build truly smooth surfaces from the side (because the side is actually many different layers stacked on top of each other), but this printer has such thin layers that I had to bring the objects right up close with a light shining on the surface to see the lines. FDM printers have a resolution that is specified by the minimum thickness of each layer, and the 3DWOX1 just qualifies as a high resolution printer with a resolution of 50 microns in the maximum quality slow mode. The very best printers I've seen go down to 10 microns; by way of comparison a typical sheet of copy paper is about 50 microns thick. It's worth noting that while 3D printers often specify minimum thickness, which in the x, y, and z coordinate system is the smallest thickness in the z (height) dimension, few if any printers seem to specify resolution in the x and y dimensions, and I don't think it's the same. You see the effects of this the most when an object has a curve in the x y plane; rather than being smooth, it tends to have small blocky ridges where the printer tried to create a smooth slope. Once you have setup the printer and printed the built-in test objects and are looking for things to print, I highly recommend checking out the Thingiverse website, which has literally millions of free objects of every conceivable type for you to download. The objects are packaged in stl files, which are kind of like CAD drawings I think. Before you can actually print them though you'll need to convert them into gcode, which is the language 3D printers actually understand. This is getting a little long, so let me just summarize: I am very happy with this printer so far, but I went into it accepting that it was a little restrictive on materials, a little expensive both up front and in maintenance, and is really designed for people looking for a low-hassle way to print objects out of basic materials. For people like me who are brand new to the whole 3D printing concept, it makes for a very gentle introduction into that world.

if your good at reading instructions and electronics you can build this in about 5-6 hours if not faster. I have had this printer for about a week and it has not had a day where it wasnt printing. the first few days i was doing test prints to calibrate my filament and the settings in my slicer. after that got all done i have printed upgrades in petg and now im in the process of printing a bust as a present. The quality of the prints have been good and at certain layer heights its almost as good as a injection molded item. If your having trouble with this printer id suggest checking facebook groups and other communitys to get help or even contacting support.

My husband and I were looking to get into 3d printing. We did quite a bit of research before settling on this one. I don't usually write reviews, but it was so hard finding information on this printer, I want to put some more out there in case someone else is researching which printer to buy. Our criteria were as follows. We wanted decent print quality, room to grow the printer once we got our feet wet and a machine that worked well enough without tinkering for us to get a good start. It also had to be quiet since we were planning on having it in our living space. The things we liked about this printer were ease of setup (we were precise and followed the clear instructions), good prints from the get go, most upgrades already included (auto bed leveling, quieter motherboard, decent bowden couplings, better extruder etc). There is a dearth of information about this printer online relative to other similarly priced printers, but the reliability of the included parts more than made up for it.I recommend this printer for people who like to tinker as there was a bit more footwork required to find out how to calibrate certain aspects of the print where the firmware was involved (Chitu firmware instead of Marlin) and setting up Octoprint needed some extra steps. There was also one problem with the printer out of the box that required us to troubleshoot some bizarre under-extrusion. That ended up being that the hot end side of the bowden tube had not been cut straight and so a plug of plastic developed between the nozzle and the tube. I'm not knocking off any stars for that because this is still a bang up printer and I have been consistently impressed by how well it is performing even while the plug was in place. As with any piece of equipment meant for consumer fiddling, it does have things that need to be checked and maintained so don't expect to print well completely effortlessly. However, even after much research and now that I know what all the points on the box mean, if I had to do it again, I would still buy this one gladly. We have successfully been printing both PLA and ABS for a few weeks now.

This is a good printer but needs upgrades the filament censer is hard to load. but short of that not bad , i would suggest an upgrade on the titan as well. I don't suggest this for first time buyers because of the assembly process.but over all good product. I'm happy with the price and Item it took 3 and half hours to complete.
