very happy with product, print quality is nice just make sure to re-level the bead before each use if printer was turned off so you wont mess up the build plate like i did.. but if someone is looking for a good 3d printer you should be happy with this because of the printing quality and large build volume

so this printer is awesome. the rigid frame helps give this printer a great bit of stability. bed leveling is super easy if you follow the instructions. bed is great holds awesome well heated once it cools the print pop right off. this is capable of printing pla, abs, wood, tpu, and petg. the anycubic filiament prints great. good layer adhesion and fantastic finishes. if you are looking for a solid large for at printer this one is fantastic. this will be my new goto printer anything with size. quickly heats up the bed heats nice and evenly. highly reccomend to anyone.

This my husband's 3rd 3D Printer. He loves it. His best recommendation is to take your time with assembly everything MUST be lined up correctly. It MUST be square or it will not work. I added a picture of a print he did for me the second day out of the box.

The setup was pretty fast ( under 20 minutes) and printer looks great. The included power cord was no good , machine wouldn’t power up. But I had extra pc cords ( who doesn’t) and problem quickly solved. Figuring out the auto level/ manual level setup correctly took about 45 minutes until got it down right. Next time will be simple. Isn’t silent and fan is noticeable but not like reviews saying too f’ n loud etc. isn’t that bad! Doing first print so far loving it.

I currently have two of these running side by side. The only real complaint I have is that they have garbage cooling fans (I have already had to replace all 3 of them) and the heat bead requires some tweaking during the printing to get and keep it level. I have read where people are having problems with the print sticking to the build plate. This happens for a number of reasons but can be corrected with Final Net EXTRA HOLD Hairspray (yes, brand specific and yes, you read correctly... hair spray) I have had no problems printing with ABS, PETG, PLA, TPU and Flex PLA. As far as this being a printer for beginners, I really cannot say that it is. Very few printers can just be taken out of the box and go. The ones that are, are very limited in what they can do. As with any printer, before you buy one, read the forums watch some videos and expect some trial and error with it. Every printer is a little different, and every material is different. Everything requires some knowledge of what you are doing BEFORE you do it. Learn the settings in the slicer program and what they do. Temp, extrusion speed, layer height, fan speeds...all can have a major influence on what happens during the print. The fun part of life is learning the how behind the what of what you are doing. I have a Tronxy X5SA that experienced a failure in the control board, I was able to contact tech support and they are sending me a new one at no charge, which is why I had to buy 2 of these to stand in while I wait on the new board. The tech support email is : lisa@tronxy.com. There is about a 12 to 24 hour delay for a response, I have never had a question go unanswered and they have always gone above and beyond to help.

This is my first 3d printer and after many recommendations from other people I know I bought this. When you get this printer the first thing you will notice is how well it is packaged. Everything is laid out in bags and all the tools required to build it ar included. Everything fit and even taking my time it was about a 2-3 hour build. It was not hard at all to build however there is a wonderful video on youtube which goes step by step on how to assemble this. I highly recommend watching the video while you assemble it because the video gives extra steps on how to adjust the bed which the included instructions do not address. This is VERY important to get correct. My first prints were using ABS and there were issues with bonding and if you are a first time printer I recommend using PLA. Using PLA I have had no issues at all. This thing is very accurate and I have printed knurled bolts and the knurl comes out awesome.

I have been looking for a good dual extrusion printer, but so far the only fairly reasonably priced printers I have found are the Creality CR-X and the noted Tronxy X5SA printers. I already have a CR-10s, and it's a good workhorse printer, but it is a bit slow due to the moving bed. I would really like a printer that doesn't sling the bed. My main question is, would this printer have everything needed to get it up and running decently well out of the box? From what I understand the first X5SA's had an anemic power supply and could not print with the heated bed running, but now that they have a 24V 360watt power supply I assume this isn't an issue anymore. I really want to like this printer, but I don't want to be stuck replacing everything except the frame. I do plan on adding the belt mod to prevent the two Z axis rods from getting out of sync, and I have no qualms about minor extra parts like the anti backlash nuts for the Z axis. Just for reference, I am very comfortable with 3D printers, and this wouldn't be my first kit. Like I said I have a CR-10s, but I also have a FLSun Kossel Delta which was a kit I built and had printing quite well until trying to upgrade Marlin. I've actually really enjoyed modding that printer here and there, which is both part of the appeal, and part of the worry about getting a Tronxy.

This is my first 3d printer ever, and my first experience with 3d printing. I did a lot of research before I chose the X5SA-2E, mostly due to the quiet motherboard, the heated bed, and the overall bed size. Time from unboxing to printing was a little more than 2 hours. After two failed test prints of the dog model I did a little research and upped the bed temp, no more problems. I've been printing non stop for not quite a week, so far so good. I'm a IT Specialist so maybe I have an unfair advantage when it comes to this kind of thing, but I think this is a great printer for a first timer. You can add additional STLs to the slicer program for multi part builds. Research, research, research. If you run in to something that you don't understand Google and YouTube are your best friend. I'll be updating as I go if anything changes.

This is my 4th printer I've owned. My previous printers included 2 i3 style printers (aka bed slinger) and an H-Bot. Out of the box, the X5SA Pro is pretty hard to beat. I've been using it now for the better part of a week and I'm seeing good results.Typically I like to tinker and make tons of adjustments and/or custom firmware; however, I don't feel the need yet. If you're new to 3d printing, the instructions are quite good with a few minor tweaks around the drag chains. Then give the TronXY slicer a try. Appears to be a simplified Cura UI and out of the box and generates nice prints. When you out grow the simplified slicer, switch over to Cura or Simplify3d. While this printer is a bit more than your typical starter printer, it has a lot of potential. This is a very good option for your second printer, no question.

I am a new 3d printer owner and I have to say, this printer was pretty darn easy to assemble! I had trouble getting the filament started but as time goes on, I am hoping it will get easier. You have to have PATIENCE - if you do not, don't buy a 3d printer yet. I ran into a ton of problems (most everything was something I did) and there is a ton to learn if you want to get really good prints. Print quality - really good. I am impressed with this little printer. It is my first so i have nothing to compare it to but I think it prints very nicely! It takes a LONG time to print something. You will not be churning out parts every minute as even some prints that seem simple can take over 12 hours to do. I have some videos I am going to be uploading as soon as I can get to a place with fast internet (living in the country in the USA has some disadvantages) that will show a lot more than what I can type here. Tips.... 1. buy extra filament (PLA for now) 2. have patience 3. Watch videos to learn about 3d printing ! 4. With the stock parts it is a bit loud so make sure you don't put it next to your bed. 5. have patience 6. buy more nozzles (.4 is the norm) 7. buy glue sticks (elmers not the hot glue sticks) to make adhesion a ton better on the glass plate. 8. have patience. 9. Learn the manual settings in your slicer (creality slicer comes with which is pretty darn good ) 10. buy another micro sd card reader (mine stopped working after 3 uses for some reason, no biggie) 11. have patience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, you can't beat the ease or the quality for the price. If you want a mid to professional level printer, look no further.this is solid, looks awesome, and prints pretty fast as well. I can't say enough good things about this printer.

They say in life you can get things 2 of 3 ways: Cheap, Fast, or Good Quality. This was Cheap and Good Quality. The build is very solid and the onboard accessories (autolevel, dual extruder, filament sensor) make it an excellent deal. The kit is not for beginners, however, as you will be assembling absolutely every piece of this machine. Unless you're a gearhead, I'd suggest going with something a little less intense for a first printer kit.

This beast is a great printer. Excellent quality and has vary large build area. Arrived on time with no issues. Unboxing and setup was relatively quick. This is my third 3d printer so I kind of already knew what to expect while putting it together and didn't really run into any issues. Have run a bunch of prints on the printer already and all have come out great (except the ones that I messed up, no fault to the printer) Honestly I have no complaints and if I had the cash would buy another one. Might not recommend it for a first 3d printer for someone - these are still hobbyist devices - and take some work to use - they are not plug and play like printers or toasters. Still an excellent machine

The printer arrived in Germany quickly within 2 days after payment, it prints well from the box. On my model is written Troxy X5SA Pro . New mainboard design. the rails with carriages did not jam before and after washing and lubrication. In general, my opinion is an excellent printer.
